Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins is a Mexican-American sportscaster. She is currently a sportscaster for ESPN who is also anchor for SportsCenter news and hosting SportsNation. She joined ESPN as a reporter in the year 2016. She is the child of television journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is a native bilingual. Since she was nine, Collins's ability to communicate in two languages allowed her to get the job she wanted in Miami as a production assistant at Univision. In her position she was given the chance to be a part of national show producers like Nuestra Belleza Latina. Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. It was the CBS affiliate in St. Petersburg hired her following this to become an sports reporter. In 2009 she moved into Rio Grande Valley, Texas to become an investigative reporter for The Spanish station KNVO TV 48 Univision and Fox2 News. In 2009, she relocated to Rio Grande Valley, Texas and became an editor for KNVO48 Univision and Fox2 News. She was also often asked to fill in as anchors for the weather and sports. Deportes 23 in Dallas, Univision's Dallas-affiliate station. There she had more responsibility. She produced pieces about Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS and World Series as well Dallas Cowboys NBA postseason Finals FC Dallas, and Dallas Stars. The Univision 23 channel also produced her local sports channel Accion Deportiva Extra, on which she acted as anchor. The show was promoted to be a sports anchor to Despierta America Deportes' morning show. The same role she was employed by Primer Impacto (a network magazine) as well as Contacto Deportivo (a UniMas Network sports channel). Antonietta Collin's parents originally hail from Veracruz Mexico. The city of Mexico City she was conceived on the 22nd November 1985. There is an older sister. In 1992 her family left Mexico and relocated to Miami. They divorced shortly thereafter and her mother got married to one of the naval architects known as Fabio Fajardo who died of kidney cancer in 2006. It was during a time of summer when she was with her sibling at Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl had gotten the job. Antonietta who was in high school who had a vision of how she thought her future would look like, traveled to Mount Union University to determine what she could get out of the college. Then she was enthralled with the university. The university offered her an academic major. She graduated from school and was enrolled at the University as a major in media studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor and the manager of WRMU in which she's a member. They formed a strong connection. Her professor urged her to be confident and was deeply moved by his passion for journalism.
